Honduras Rosewood is very different from the typical Indian rosewood found on most instruments..
If you want to know how it sounds, just listen to a Xylophone. {The wood keys that are struck with a mallet on a xylophone are made of Honduras rosewood}
It has a nice tight closed grain, and smooth feel , like ebony
